Where to file the public
complaints?
The citizen can file the complaint related to
municipal services in the PUBLIC GRIEVANCES AND REDRESSAL CELL (PGR
CELL) under the premises of City Corporation, Mangalore.
How to file the public complaints and tracking
status of the complaint?
The complaint can be registered through either of
the following three modes.
- Paper form
The citizen can fill the complaint form available at PGR CELL (at free
of cost) and submit. The citizen can call to the
telephone number 2220344 to know the status of the complaint or can
personally visit the PGR CELL.
- Telephone
The citizen can file his complaint by calling
to the telephone number
2220344 and explain the
complaint details to the Grievance Officer. In turn he will be informed
about his complaint tracking number. The citizen can call to the
telephone number 2220344
to know the status of the complaint or can personally visit the PGR
CELL.
- Internet
The citizen can
file his complaint by visiting the link
http://www.mangalorecity.gov.in/grievance-redressal.html.
After submitting the complaint, PGR system will generate complaint
tracking number (The citizen needs to note down this number for
tracking the complaint status. He should enter this system generated
number in the web page
http://www.mangalorecity.gov.in/grievance-redressal.html
to know the status.
Who will answer the phone?
Two persons in each shift will be
working round the clock and answer the HELPLINE telephones.
How can they help?
The HELPLINE staff will listen to your
grievance carefully and asks the details like complaint location,
complainant name, telephone number, e-mail address, etc. At last
HELPLINE staff will give you a complaint number.
I have two complaint in my ward. Can I
register both the complaints at a time?
You can register both the complaints at
a time. But HELPLINE staff will give you two separate complaint number
to refer your both the complaints.
Is there any time limit to dial
HELPLINE?
No. Helpline works round-the-clock. |
