Ashraf and all standing committee chairmen's were present and planted the
seedlings along Ashok Nagar Road. About 1000 plants will be planted by July
2007. The programme was organized by Sri. Krishnappa Poojary, Commissioner,

Mangalo Prime minister Manmohan Singh will arrive in the city on Friday June 23 morning to lay the foundation-stone for the prestigious ONGC Petro-chemicals project in the MRPL premises. He will lay foundation for the ambitious project at 12 noon. Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy, union petroleum and natural gas minister Murali Deora, deputy chief minister B S Yediyurappa and union minister Oscar Fernandes too will be present on the occasion.
